Review by hotel critic
The room was not only spacious and comfortable but also exceptionally clean, with fresh bed linen that smelled amazing. The attention to detail was outstanding, from the complimentary toiletries provided to the well-stocked tea tray in the room. The breakfast options were superb, with a delicious full English cooked to perfection and a continental spread that had plenty to choose from. The staff, from the management to the cleaning crew, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the eggs served for breakfast came from the hotel's own hens, adding a charming touch to the overall experience. The hotel's dog-friendly policy and lovely garden furniture made it a perfect choice for travelers with four-legged companions. I will definitely be returning to the Dorset Arms and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Newcastle.
